Shift the system mapping

The Shift the System mapping methodology offers a practical way to move from "what's going on" to "what could be", guiding users to identify leverage points, envision alternatives, and support collective action. This method draws on systems thinking and leadership practice from IRC and those who have inspired us over the years. It also builds on applied tools such as causal loop diagramming, influence mapping, and systems mapping frameworks developed by other organisations working at the interface of social impact and systemic change.
