This assessment contextually assesses GESI in the WASH sector by reviewing national policies, strategies, and implementation practices in Ethiopia. This will enable us to understand the opportunities and challenges for embedding GESI strategies in the implementation of interventions. In addition, the assessment provided inputs for the development of IRC WASH Ethiopia’s country programme GESI Strategy.
